What is Pre-K Counts?

Pre-K Counts is a free, full day Pre-K program for financially eligible families in the Greater Reading area. This initiative is funded by Keystone STARS and offers children ages 3-5 a valuable educational foundation that will prepare them for success in kindergarten and beyond! Enrollment in Pre-K Counts includes lunch and two snacks during school days. Before and after school care is also available on site, if needed.

We at the Y are incredibly lucky to have a staff of highly skilled, dedicated teachers and staff on board for our Pre-K Counts program. Pre-K Counts participants will be placed into one of four classrooms with both a head teacher and an assistant to ensure your child is receiving adequate attention and instruction throughout their school day.
