FOCUSING ON FUN

Since the 1900’s, the YMCA of Reading and Berks County has offered sports programs to local youths, allowing our community to stay healthy, experience new sports, and work cooperatively to achieve a mutual goal. We offer a wide variety of sports ranging from dance to traditional team sports, we have always ensured that our sports focus on the core values of teamwork, integrity, honesty, learning, and the love of the game.

BASKETBALL

Basketball was founded at the Y back in 1891 and, today, is one of the most popular sports in America. At the Y, we offer youth basketball programs for ages 4-12 years. Our offerings range from clinics focusing on skill building and basketball basics to basketball leagues where children will have to opportunity to practice, play on a team, and compete against other YMCA branches.
